Advantages
- It increase hydrogen bonding
- good anti-sagging properties with improved flow and deaeration.
- It is used to stabilize molecular sieves like zeolith in polyols, shows a stronger influence on gel-time in vinyl ester resins and could require adjustment with additional promoter. Used as thixotropy enhancing additives in unsaturated polyester and epoxy.
- It can also be used in filled systems to prevent or reduce the sedimentation of fillers during storage.
