Chimitex Arya Company (Private Joint Stock) put into commercial operation in May 2013 to produce and supply Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) as a final product and Sec-Butyl Alcohol (SBA) as an intermediate & Rafiinate III as by-product.The production plant is located in Mahshahr Special Economic Petrochemical Zone (Pet Zone) in an area of 5 hectares and using an advanced technology produces finally 3000 Mt/year SBA/MEK to meet the growing global & local demand and export to the international market.
