D200 is a low viscosity reactive diluent based on alkylene carbonates which possess low toxicity, high polarity, and relatively low vapor pressure and is miscible with many other solvents.

D200 is used in the formulation of epoxy systems where reactive curing agents are used and reduced viscosity would be desirable.
The effects of the carbonates in the epoxy formulation will depend on the carbonate concentration and on the reactivity of the amine curing agent. Glass transition temperature of the cured resin is reduced about 20-40°C.
D200 is stable under ordinary storage conditions. The temperature should be kept below 50°C.
D200 must be considered in hardener calculation.
