Environmentally friendly, water-based, thermoplastic methacrylic resin. Used as a binder for heat sealing lacquers for sealing aluminium foil or PET film versus polypropylene and polystyrene for food packaging.

for sealing aluminium foil or PET film versus polypropylene and polystyrene for food packaging
keeps for one year from date of delivery if stored tightly closed in a cool place. Before processing, Degalan® PM 666 must be well stirred, since storage can lead to phase separation.
Since Degalan® PM 666 adheres very well to aluminium foil, priming with a PVC copolymer-baesd lacquer is not required. Recommended film thickness of Degalan® PM 666 is 7μm.
Dries physically on solvent evaporation. After brief airing, 15 sec. at 180°C.
Degalan® PM 666 is dilutable with esters and ketones.
