- Deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization of the pigments. Provides equal electrical charge to pigments and thus avoid possible co-flocculation of pigments that are not equally charged. Offers high gloss and improved color strength. Increases transparency and hiding power of the pigments. Reduces viscosity. Stabilizes organic pigments. Facilitates the formation of water-pigment concentrates.
