Polyethyleneglycolfunctional alkoxysilane

• control rheological properties
• reduce viscosity in highly filled polymer systems, like aluminum trihydroxide filled polyesters or SMC pastes
• Contrary to most other organofunctional silanes, it features chemical polarity yet remaining chemically not reactive

as anti-settling agent for corrosion inhibitors in glycol based cooling agents
as a slipping agent to simply modify a surface
used for the pretreatment of the filler or pigment
as a hydrophilic compatibilizer
as a lubricant and wetting agent in the glass fibre industry in combination with silane coupling agents

The containers must remain tightly sealed and stored in a cool, well-ventilated place protected against moisture.

Dynasylan® 4148 is listed in DSL/NDSL PICCS TSCA IECSC ENCS ECL EINECS/ELINCS.
It permits workable viscosities at well over 250 phr aluminum trihydroxide loading in unsaturated polyester resins.
