Beeswax is naturally secreted by working bees (Apis mellifera - Apis mellifica) in order to build the honeycombs in the hive. After separation from honey by centrifugation, beeswax is refined by mild processes using water and filtrations with activated carbons only, removing impurities and pigments, reducing odor, but keeping all the benefits of a naturally occurring, sustainable and renewable material. The solid mass in then processed to convert it into pearls.
