keeps for one year from date of delivery if stored tightly closed in a cool place. Before processing, Degalan® PM 555 must be well stirred, since storage can lead to phase separation.
In order to ensure that the adhesion to aluminium foil, the latter should be primered (1-2 μm dry film thickness) with a PVC copolymer, e.g. Vinnol® H 15/45 from Wacker Chemie or in combination with the ration of 95/5 (solid to solid). Recommended film thickness of Degalan® PM 555 is 7μm.
Dries physically on solvent evaporation. After brief airing, 15 sec. at 180°C.
Degalan® PM 555 is dilutable with esters and ketones.
