Technical Documents
Saturated polyester polyol. It is a pasty polyester of medium molecular weight, which gives the reactive hot melt a high degree of flexibility.
Details
Applications
Producer
Chemical Composition
Polyester polyol
Advantages
- medium molecular weight
- high degree of flexibility
- inherent flame retardancy, which ensures that additional flame retardants are not required to be added to the formulation
- a green alternative to the petrochemical polyols
- formulations prepared using this bio-based polyol exhibit properties comparable to those of petrochemically based polyesters
- fast setting behaviour
Other Applications
reactive hot-melt adhesives
Storage
When stored below 30°C in closed containers the product remains stable for at least one year. In case of open or improperly closed containers, there is a possibility of increased moisture from the atmosphere.
Handling
It has 30% renewable content.
