Epotec YDPN 638 is a semi-solid phenol novolac based multifunctional epoxy resin. The high viscosity of this resin render it to be used as it is and invariably it is used in solution form or by blending with other lower viscosity epoxy resins.
Epotec YDPN 638 has functionality of ~ 3.6 in its original form. This higher functionality of epotec YDPN 638 imparts highly cross linked three dimensional network when cured.

Storage

Epotec YDPN 638 resin should be stored in original tightly closed container, in dry and warm conditions. Under these conditions, it has a storage life of at least two years from the date of manufacturing.

Handling

Epotec YDPN 638 can be used alone or can also be blended with other conventional epoxy resins to improve there chemical and thermal resistance characteristics.
