Lead chromate molybdate sulfate. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering and resistance to SO2. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens.
Details
Lead chromate molybdate sulfate
- has low content of lead compounds soluble in hydrochloric acid
- economic alternative to the XX35 S series with somewhat lower fastness properties
industrial coatings
It is insoluble in organic solvents and thus fast to overspraying.
Is not suitable to color or coat cement or lime.
The heat stability depends on the binder and solvent system used.
Soluble in hydrochloric acid
