Sicomin® Yellow L 1922 Type U

Lead sulfo chromate. Is an inorganic pigment. It is a mixture of chrome yellow – Pb(Cr,S)O4, lead chromate pigment- and barium chromate – BaCrO4; stabilized with a silicate coat. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering and resistance to SO2. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens.
