Epotec YD 134X-80 is an unmodified semi-solid epoxy resin based on Bisphenol-A dissolved as 80% solid in xylene for ease of processing and handing. This resin is applied mainly in low VOC adhesives & protective coatings. It can also be used to modify other epoxy resins to impart or improve the toughness, flexibility, adhesion etc.

Epotec YD 134X-80 resin should be stored in dry and cool conditions in original tightly closed container. Under these conditions, it has a storage life of at least one year from the date of manufacturing.
Due to solvent content, the solution is moderately skin irritant.
Operators are advised to use personal protective equipment to avoid skin contact with the material.
Use of general mechanical ventilation and local exhaust is recommended.
Epotec YD 134X-80 should be kept away from sources of ignition.
Various curing agents can be employed to cure epotec YD 134X-80 epoxy resin.
Although it can be cured at room temperature elevated temperature curing develops the full properties of the system.
